List Estimates

List all the estimates

Direct Link: https://app.meroerp.com/sales/estimates

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.
  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates. This will redirect you to the Estimate list page.

Add Estimate

Create an estimate sales order requested by a customer.

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.

  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Create Estimate + .

  3. Select the respective store.

    Note: If you have only one store, it will be automatically selected.

  4. To search for an existing customer, simply enter their name in the search bar. If the customer is not found, click on the "+" button to add a new customer.

  5. After selecting store and customer, the Buyer Details and Items panel will be unlocked.

  6. In Buyer Details, the customer's information will be auto-filled. You may change these details if needed.

    1. Customer
    2. Email
    3. Name
    4. Tax Number
    5. Contact Numbers
    6. Billing Address
    7. Shipping Address
  7. In Estimate Order Details, fill the following fields.

    1. Title: A short description of the order.
    2. Reference: Any reference information related to the order.
    3. Summary
    4. Order Number: This is auto-generated.
    5. Estimate Date: The date on which the estimate was made.
    6. Due Date: The date by which estimate should be decided whether to Invoice it or not.
  8. In Items Panel, add item by variant name or variant SKU ID. Then, make changes in the following fields.

    1. *Quantity: Set the quantity
    2. *Unit Price: Change unit price if needed
    3. Discount: Add Discount if applicable. You have two options: Percentage or Fixed Amount.
    4. Tax: If the product has tax added, it will auto add.
  9. If you need to add more items, click on Add Item on the left side of the page and repeat step 8.

  10. After all items have been added, fill in the Shipping charges if applicable and add Adjustment amount if needed.

  11. Click on Save to create an Estimate with Estimate Status: Draft.

View Estimate

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.
  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates. This will redirect you to the Estimate list page.
  3. You can view the following information panel in the Estimate Detail page:
    1. Customer
    2. Order Detail
    3. Bill To
    4. Ship To
    5. Net Amount
    6. Item Quantity
    7. Estimate Lines
    8. Status
    9. Notes
    10. Estimate Terms / Estimate Note / Estimate Footer
    11. Created By / Created At / Modified By / Modified At

Search Estimate

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.

  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates. This will redirect you to the Estimate list page.

  3. Apply the required filters. The filters available are

    1. Predefined dates or Manual date

    2. Invoice Status

      1. All
      2. Draft
      3. Pending
      4. Rejected
      5. Cancelled
      6. Invoiced
    3. Estimate Number

    4. Store

    5. Customer Name

  4. Click on Apply filters.

  5. Search for the estimate from the results and select the estimate that matches your keywords.

Delete Estimate

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.

  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates. This will redirect you to the Estimate list page.

  3. Find the estimate you want to delete and select it. This will redirect you to the Estimate Detail page.

  4. Make sure the precondition is met.

    Precondition: Estimate Status: Draft or Pending

  5. In the right buttons panel, find the Delete button. Hover your mouse over the button which says "Delete". Click on that button.

  6. A confirmation popup will appear then select Ok.

Cancel Estimate

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.

  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates. This will redirect you to the Estimate list page.

  3. Find the estimate you want to cancel and select it. This will redirect you to the Estimate Detail page.

  4. Make sure the precondition is met.

    Precondition: Estimate Status: Draft or Pending

  5. In the right buttons panel, click on Cancel.

  6. A confirmation popup will appear. In the confirmation pop-up page,enter the reason for Cancellation and Confirm the Cancellation by selecting Proceed.

Edit Estimate

Add / Remove / Update Items

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.
  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates.
  3. Find the estimate in which you would like to add/remove items and make sure the pre condition is met.

    Pre condition: Estimate Status: Draft or Pending

  4. Find the estimate in which you would like to add/remove/update items then select that estimate. This will redirect to Estimate Detail page.
  5. In the right buttons panel, click on Edit button.This will redirect to Update Estimate page.
  6. Locate Items panel and add or remove or update items.
    1. To Add: Click on Add Item and add item by their name or SKU ID.
    2. To remove: Click on button that says Delete and confirm the deletion
    3. To Update: Update the Quantity, Unit Price, Discount and Tax in an item if needed
  7. Make changes in the Shipping charges and Adjustment amount if needed.
  8. Click on Update.

Edit Estimate Information

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.

  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates.

  3. Find the estimate in which you would like to edit informations then select that estimate. It will redirect to Estimate Detail page.

  4. In the right buttons panel, click on Edit button. This will redirect to Update Estimate page.

  5. The following information can be updated

    1. In Buyer Details

      1. Customer
      2. Email
      3. Name
      4. Tax Number
      5. Contact Numbers
      6. Billing Address
      7. Shipping Address
    2. In Estimate Order Details

      1. Title
      2. Reference
      3. Summary
      4. Order Number: This is auto-generated.
      5. Estimate Date
      6. Due Date
    3. In Item Calculation

      1. Shipping Charge
      2. Adjustment Amount
    4. Estimate Terms / Estimate Note / Estimate Footer

  6. Update the necesaary information

  7. Click on Update.

Change status of Estimate

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.
  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates.
  3. Find the estimate in which you would like to change status then select that estimate. It will redirect to Estimate Detail page.
  4. In the Status panel, locate the Estimate Status field and click on the drop-down menu. The options available are:
    1. Draft
    2. Pending
    3. Rejected
    4. Cancelled
    5. Invoiced
  5. Choose the desired status for the estimate from the available options.

Change to Invoice

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.

  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates.

  3. Find the estimate in which you would like to change status then select it. This will redirect to Estimate Detail page.

  4. Make sure the precondition stated is met.

    Precondition: Estimate Status: Pending

  5. In the right buttons panel, find the Convert to Invoice button. Hover your mouse over the button which says Convert to Invoice.

Download Estimate

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.
  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates.
  3. Find the estimate which you would like to download then select that estimate. It will redirect to Estimate Detail page.
  4. In the right buttons panel, find the Download button. Hover your mouse over the button which says Download. Click on that button.
  5. The Estimate pdf will be downloaded.

Preview Estimate

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.
  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates.
  3. Find the estimate which you would like to preview then select that estimate. This will redirect to Estimate Detail page.
  4. In the right buttons panel, find the Preview button. Hover your mouse over the button which says Preview. Click on that button.
  5. Estimate Order Preview popup will appear.

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.
  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates.
  3. Find the estimate which you would like to print then select that estimate. This will redirect to Estimate Detail page.
  4. In the right buttons panel, find the Printer button. Hover your mouse over the button which says Print. Click on that button.
  5. This will open up printing page. Select Printer and other details.
  6. Click on Print.

Estimate Notes

Add Estimate Note

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.
  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates.
  3. Find the estimate in which you would like to Add Notes then select that estimate. This will redirect to Estimate Detail page.
  4. Locate Notes panel. Click on the empty textbox below Add Note.
  5. Fill the textbox with note.
  6. Choose either Private Note or Public Note.
  7. Click on Save.

Delete Estimate Note

  1. Log in to your MeroERP account.
  2. On the left navigation menu, browse to Sales > Manage Estimates.
  3. Find the estimate in which you would like to Delete Note then select that estimate. This will redirect to Estimate Detail page.
  4. Locate the note you would like to delete.
  5. Click on the Delete option at the end of the note.
  6. A confirmation popup will appear. Click on Continue and the note will be deleted.
